Chef Anna Harouvis will join anchors Autumn Ziemba and Rosey Leftwich on Fox 8’s News in the Morning this Sunday, December 6, to share her favorite soup recipe with viewers. Harouvis owns Good to Go Cafe, the first non-GMO, gluten-free eatery in the country, with two Cleveland locations. She is also the creator of Anna in the Raw, a raw food and cold-pressed, organic juice line and works with several professional sports teams as well as the Institute for Functional Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic.
The segment will air at approximately 9:40 a.m. and is part of Fox 8’s seasonal “Road to the Souperbowl” series which showcases some of Northeast Ohio’s best soups to enjoy as the weather cools down and airs weekly as part of the station’s Browns coverage.
Harouvis will share a family recipe handed down by her Greek grandmother chosen not only because of its taste but also because of the memories associated with it.
“I will be creating my favorite Yiayia’s recipe because it always reminds me of home,” she says. “I’m excited to share it with everyone to not only warm their bellies but also their homes and souls this holiday season. It’s like having a big bowl of love and happiness.”
